With over 25 years in corporate and Wall Street banking, Dr. Michele Scott transitioned to education and community service. In New Jersey, she gained expertise in hydroponics, followed by a seven-year tenure in China as a professor and administrator.

Now back in the US, she serves as a Consultant-Director at the Urban League of Essex County, overseeing food security and sustainability programs. Dr. Scott enriches middle school Career Days with urban agriculture professionals, runs a cooperative's fresh produce service, and leads healthy lifestyle workshops. She's furthering her education in Social Impact Strategy at the University of Pennsylvania and teaches at five universities.

Elizabeth is an educator with 15 years of experience in various subjects and grades, dedicated to igniting a passion for learning and critical thinking.

Her career began in the classroom, evolving into educational implementation to integrate innovative strategies effectively. She advocates for problem-based learning, guiding students to solve real-world issues and develop creativity. Danielle Ward-Hynes, a mother of two, co-founded Soaring High Academy with her husband to educate their children and support local families. This student-led, nature-based homeschool provides sensory-friendly spaces for neurodivergent and neurotypical learners. Danielle is dedicated to helping students lacking adequate school support.

Soaring High Academy hosts community events to offer resources and education. A Hurricane Katrina survivor, Danielle uses the Vireo garden to support the local food bank and teach families about growing their own food. She aims to empower K-12 students through holistic, student-centered educational experiences.
